Sunny has been drawing since she was a little girl, never fathoming that her visual style of note taking would lead her to the career of communication artist. Her background is in literature, political science and international studies, all disciplines that rely heavily on the art of listening and analyzing. In addition, these areas of study require a strong understanding of information and knowledge management. Pair that with drawing and the world of communication arts was a natural fit for an artist like Sunny.
Since 1998, Sunny has been scribing with the likes of Ernst & Young, Cap Gemini, erazerbelt, Wishful Thinking, Matter Group, The Launch Institute, TiE Midwest, and Built in Chicago for clients like Fedex, Kraft, Eli Lilly, Astra Zeneca, Smuckers, Allstate, Best Buy, Target, GE, Diageo, GM, SNCF, BNP Parisbas, Emerson Engineering, Micro Motion, SAS, RSD, IBM, Snap On Tools, Wrigley, Oscar Meyer and so many others.
Sunny possesses a keen understanding of business, in between all the illustrating, Sunny has also been a: project manager, marketing manager, data analyst, knowledge manager, events planner, graphic designer, creative director, and business management consultant.
Born in France, raised in Detroit, based in Chicago, Sunny lives in Uptown (Al Capone’s old hood!) near the lake with her mathematical genius/statistical wizard of a boyfriend, a dog named Sampson Simpson and two lovely cats named Sophie and Devi.
